How this calculator works
Coop floor: about 2 sq ft per bantam, 4 per standard hen, 5 per large breed. Run: about 8, 10 and 15 sq ft per bird. Nest boxes: one per 3 to 4 hens. Roost: about 8, 10 or 12 in of perch per bird.
