What we liked
- + Natural fresh water sand with a gritty texture promotes drainage in the coop.
- + Resealable 20 lb bag suits small coops and dust bath areas.
- + Listing says it supports digestion as a grit source and helps reduce ammonia buildup.
Trade-offs
- - Only 20 lbs, far less than the 50 lb bag it replaces, so large coops need several bags.
- - Price per pound is high, and the listing claims are the seller's own.
