What we liked
- + Large 35 lb bag of 100% high-heat processed natural softwood pine shavings.
- + Low dust and highly absorbent per the listing, helping control moisture and ammonia odor.
- + Usable for coop floors, nest boxes and other small animal housing.
Trade-offs
- - Listing is general across stalls and animals and not specific to chickens.
- - Costs more per bag than small compressed pine packs, and bag size means storage space.
