QUIKRETE All Purpose Sand for Potting Soil, Concrete Mix, Traction on Snow and Ice, Brick Pavers, Graded Coarse, 50 Pound Bag
QUIKRETE graded coarse all purpose sand in a 50 Pound bag, a coarser option that drains well in chicken runs.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + Graded coarse texture drains better than fine play sand
- + All purpose sand is inexpensive for covering larger run areas
- + Coarse grains produce less airborne dust in enclosed coops
Trade-offs
- - Not washed or dried per the title, so it may contain more silt
- - General construction sand can include sharper particles
