An orange 12 in x 8 in adjustable height and temperature heating plate for up to 10 chicks and ducklings.
Price range: $ (Budget)
What we liked
- + Adjustable temperature gives more control than fixed-output plates
- + 12 in x 8 in size suits a small batch of up to 10 chicks
- + Height adjustment keeps the plate right as chicks grow
Trade-offs
- - Only warms up to 10 chicks, so bigger hatches need a second plate
- - Check the temperature setting against a separate thermometer
